I had to sizzle stick all 4 of my leaf's off my Jeep. So good luck with that. PB blaster can only do so much.

I had a similar problem with the main-eye bolts. I think my major problems were the rear ones. I had to use a torch to melt the bushings out, a grinding wheel to take the heads off, and a BFH. If I remember correctly, the problem was the bolt seizing to the bushins sleeve.

Good luck. This definately wasnt a PB blaster fix for me.

I have decent luck using a propane torch (the small kind for sodering copper pipe) to back off stubborn nuts/bolts. Just heat up the nut trying NOT to get too much heat on the bolt itself, then quickly put a breaker bar w/ apropriate sized 6point socket and MODERATELY TAP on it (some times it helps to tighten the nut a bit first, then back it off) the heat causes the nut to expand a bit larger than the bolt and loosen easier.
As far as blowing up, just make sure you don't hit your fuel tank/lines and have a red bottle near by.

I have had good luck by using a 4 and 1/2 grinder with a cutoff wheel. Cut between the frame mount and the spring cutting both sides of the bolt off. You can pick up one of these grinders for like $25 and they work great for other things too. Then just buy some new grade 8 9/16 bolts and apply lots of antisieze to the new bolts during reassembly. good luck

Assuming you're referring to an angle Grinder and cut-off wheels, and the answer is yes. Usually more than $25 for a good one around here, but a great investment either way.

As for the impact wrench. it didnt work for me. But the Impact, torch, BFH, and cutoff wheel were a great combination.

Pretty sure this is the one I used on my kit. I'd say 70 is a decent price for a good grinder. 4 1/2" tends to be the norm, thought they come in quite a few diameters. Not sure what other specs may be important. Dont have the money to buy my own yet.

and a few of the cutting wheels. Even though, I thought their were some mad specifially for cutting. Can anyone clear this up?
