What to do with the bumperettes...

i've got a 93 yj and as you fellow wranglers know, the bumperettes on the back don't do much goodfor anything. has anyone done anything interesting with them to make them useful in any way?

I was mounting bench seats in the bed of a pick-up, so I cut the bumperettes, and used them to make seatbelt extensions.

if you like to go camping or outdoors, you can set them up with a bag and use them for a portable toilet. done it may times.

Kept mine around for a little while and had them posted in the 'free stuff' forum, they finally found a home with another Jeeper.

edit: now that I think about it... still have both tracs... any takers!? lol.

After I fell though one of them while washing the top, I capped the top of them with diamond plate. It tore my leg up.

Ouch, that's a pretty good idea though, when i used to have em on my old jeep i loved em, people rear ended my here and there or i backed into stuff and i would just take em off and knock em straight again.

I also used to like hanging random things on there or spray bottles and forgetting they were on there until i got home.

I also capped one completely and put a hinged top on it to store a tow strap. I have had a bunch of Jeeps and i do different stuff to each.

i was thinking of welding a piece of square tubing to them and putting a top on it so I could put it in the receiver of my truck or my Jeep as a step.
