underneath it bolts directly to the frame. and I posted it up so that everybody could see what you could get for $250 plus shipping if you look around. Yes I know that IF you have the equipment, you can do it cheaper yourself, but for those that don't, here is an excellent alternative.

Oh, and if you look, you can see where paint is missing on the crossmember. That is where the PO bolted a piece of angle iron with a ball on it for towing.

If you go back 5 pages you can see the original post with pics when I received the bumpers and see the tie in for the bottom of the frame.

I cut the tub around the tranny opening, removed the smittybilt cupholder and we took out the backseat for more room for Bear our golden retriever. Now if we can just get him over being car sick, he can go with us on trips. Oh and we cleaned dog puke off of the Wet Okole seat covers!

dtn8tr,

I like the look and price of the dirtworx bumpers. Does the bull bar interfere with your headlights? It looks like it's is low enough. Also what did they cost you.

I live about 30 minutes from their shop and I drive through there when I go to work.

No they don't interfere with the headlights. They were like $250 plus shipping but since you live by his shop you could save that.

Installed new Polk 2-way speakers in the dash. Also, fixed the dayglo lights for the white face gauges. PO told me he could not get the gauge lights to work and he spent several days trying to figure it out. Turns out you have to actually connect the + and - wires of the transformer to a power supply. Half an hour and BONUS, gauge lights.

Much easier to see the speedo now at night!

Degreased the engine as it hung from the cherry picker ( need to buy grade 8 3" bolts ) bolts that i have for engine stand are too long.
