I'll keep it short, a synopsis of the week...
Replaced the Ignition Suppressor, found a nasty short and fixed it, broke off 2 electrical connectors in the ignition system and 1 ground, took about 3 hours to fix all 3, changed the oil, replaced the fuel filter, sewed/glued about 18 inches of zipper back onto my soft top so I could take it out in the rain and have the engine try to give out on me after 15 min...its been an awesome week
New baby to carry my actual new baby:
2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, bone stock...for now...
1989 Wrangler Jasper Rebuilt 4.2L, Weber 32/36 carb, CJ7 front clip (Round headlights, hell yeah), 33x12.5x15 Wrangler MTR on 15x8 AR Baja wheels
New Jeep owner here. On Thurs I had a Superlift 1.5" lift installed and put some new BFG AT 31" x 10.5" on Cragar Soft 8's under it. Works good except it's got a little trouble shifting into 2nd. I think they'll have to do a little trimming.
Drove it around town. Stopped to see a buddy to show him I got the engine finished. He responded by giving me the rear seat from his TJ. Just said, "Here, I don't need it." Then had to take out the power steering pump so I can put new seals in it. Finish that tomorrow.
