Fixed the brakes (I broke the rear right drum while wheeling last weekend), FINALLY got around to removing the broken exhaust manifold stud and put in a new one, and fixed the (aftermarket) cruise control. I guess I'm all set for Saturday's 600mi roadtrip!

I changed the O2 senser out last night and took it for a drive to make sure all was good to find out my driver front tire has seperated the tread and belt. Time for new tires sooner than I wanted. Good time to get rid of those 16" gm 5 star alloy rims, lol

Just got done replacing the lower idler pulley and what a pain in the *** job that turned out to be! But, now I have gotten rid of that whine my engine was making. It's kind of scary really, almost all of my YJ's weird noises are gone... I wonder what will start making noise next?

Exhaust hangers and leaks fixed, going to have to change my rear main, changed transfer case fluid, desperately calling around trying to find a 2.5" lift leaf spring, one of mine is sagging about to go flat and the others are still up at 2.5"...

Was forced to fix and put the top back up due to massive rain. I'm now trying to dry it out with little success. Damn I need Berliner..

I replaced those outdated and disabled hood latches. I actually had been driving around for awhile with only one latch. The other had rusted out and fallen off somewhere......talk about tempting the 'hood fly up gods'!

I got the black stainless kit from Quadratec....decent, they hold the hood down. Functional, not pretty. But hey, for $24.00 shipped you can't go wrong!

Not to mention I ordered them Tuesday night at 8:00 pm...they were on my doorstep by 3:00 pm Wednesday afternoon. Love UPS!

Installed My 136 amp ZJ alternator, went pretty well hardest part was keeping the belt lined up on all the pulleys while trying to get it on the last one. My hella 500 lights quite working I think I gotta broken wire from the relay to the lights not enough time to investigate more today. Also tihgten my head pipe to manifold bolts had a little exhaust leak.

Threw some oil into her to drive to a friend's house to replace all the seals underneath her, made it about 2.5 miles and then the oil started to drip out of the rear main pretty nicely. Drove for another 30 seconds are so, and noticed that it started to sound like a diesel. Immediately pulled over and killed it. Went to Advanced, put 4 quarts in it to be safe and get me another mile down the road. Well, filled her up, and took off. 15 feet from that spot, the cabin fills with smoke. Look outside, and noticed that I had created a HUGE smoke screen behind me, and then she died. Pop the hood and noticed I had blown the head gasket. Air Filter had turned into the Oil Filter, Hood covered in oil, and it was pouring out oil. So now the hard part, and I'd like some input on it. Part it out or sell it as is, or just go ahead and do a 4.0 AX15 swap or throw in a 5.0 (Or some other cheap mild V8) AX15 swap?
