Got word from the shop that they were finished with the work on my YJ. Went up and paid them this afternoon and admired the work they completed. Bringing her home on Thru and finish off a few small things and its ready for State Inspection.

John

I reinstalled my swing out tire carrier. Got a new set of bearings for it, greased it up and tightened it back down.

Now just to finish off the CB and tail light wiring to it.

Fix both of my doors so now they open from the inside and outside. Passenger side just had a piece broke but the driver's side hasn't open from the inside since i got it so i used an old bike break cable. I also painted pos scoop neon green to match the bezels, wipers, and hood tie downs.

I installed a new Super Winch EPi-9 on a Rough Country winch plate. It looks really cool. Still have to spool out the winch cable and tighten it. I live in the coastal plains of TEXAS and finding an incline maybe a problem. I look forward to using this for a very long time.

I purchased the winch from Amazon at a very good price and the winch plate directly from Rough Country, great folks to work with and very satisfied with the quality. Now I am searching for all the safety stuff and other needed items to operate this correctly.

Fixed my torn shift boot and was able to adjust my AX5 shifter to give me more room.

Took my new 4" lift out for a test ride. Still need to add longer brake hoses before I hit the trails cause of the additional droop. And after the ride I realized how important and alignment will be after I get everything wrapped up!

Of all simple things, finally got around to cleaning the batt. terminal clamps; it's been having weird electrical quirks since I got it. Fine sandpaper wrapped around a Sharpie, and since the bolts on the clamps are rusted to ****, a BFH (+) equally imposing wrench to get them seated again... all-in-all successfully postponing the day I need to buy real parts to fix something.

The radio actually works when the headlights are on now

Got the YJ home from the shop. Drove it around and it rides nice. Now its time for some finishing work. Going out too the garage to clean it so to park in there and finish it off.

did a walk around. tightened a ton of bolts. Seems to ride a lot less clunky than it did before. Guess that means it's time to go off-roading again to see if the sounds return
