Changed all fluids this weekend, man trans, diffs, engine, radiator, brakes, ect. In all took 6 hours, and a bit of bourbon. Fixed 3 leaks that were p#$$ing me off of late. I even cleaned and oiled the K&N. The wife freaked when she saw the diff covers off, but in all it was a fun day....except the clean up took a full hour! Thank goodness for kitty litter absorbent, no last stains on the floor!

i just bought the Rubicon Express 2.5" lift for my YJ! I'm sooo excited to pick it up tomorrow and i might just install it on Wednesday. Would it look silly with 235/75r/15 tires?

Prep'd it for flat tow, and ran it too the shop today behind the XJ. Getting a bunch of my POOR welding cleaned up and redone and having the Shock Mounts installed. Next stop is State Inspection June 10th.

Swapped out my headlight switch. Installed two Sylvania SilverStars. Finally got some Infinity Kappa 692.9i 6x9s mounted in my VDP speaker wedges. They sound great!

Just installed that lift on my jeep. You may want to start PBing now. and give yourself more then just wednesday, it fit together poorly, the directions led to a dead-end and then we had to backtrack, The lift is AWESOME once it is on.. but it was hell for the people who helped me out and did it. also would it look silly? it might. i gained well over 3 from the lift. I have a 2in BL, 5/8more shackles, tj flares, and that lift. I was just trying to fit my 33's without stuffing, but I have MORE THEN ENOUGH room for 35's now.

If you want to see some pictures the day I got it back to my house here you go http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f157/jeep-back-shop-1036216/

Put in a new battery....trying to get it back into running shape so my son can drive it. BTW, if anyone has the install docs for the ADE ignition disable system, lemme know. Made a thread in the gen forum but figure the more places it's mentioned, the better the chance I have of finding a source for the documentation.

Finally replaced my drivers side floor board. The old one was not really there any more. I found a new one on ebay for 60 bucks and it fit perfect. Cut the old out and welded in the new one.

It does feel different with a florr board now. I lost about 1-2 inches of leg room

Looks like a great ride man! I like seeing reminders that you don't have to have 36" IROKs to go wheeling!

I drove the YJ over the weekend from Columbus, OH to Indy to watch Pole Day qualifying. It was awesome Helio put in a time that totally humbled everybody Then on Sunday we drove back. The poor 4-banger was really having trouble pulling the 34" Swampers on uphill grades, sometimes I went down to 45mph. I am going to Outer Banks in two weeks, so my wife and I were talking about getting another set of wheels and tires for road trips, and running around town.

When we stopped at Friendly's for dinner, I got out the combination wrenches and tightened my rear U-bolts. The rear axle was squeaking on/off throttle, and there was a bad vibration at low RPM. That fixed it.

So today I went and bought some boxes that said "Cragar" from Jeg's:

Then I dropped them off at NTB, and came home and loosened the U-bolts, straightened out the axles so the perches mate with the springs right, and tightened up my U-bolts again. The last wheeling trip must have stretched them some.

Then I went back to NTB, it looks like Mabel has a shoe fetish. Where could I fit some more wheels and tires? Maybe on the hood.

And finally Mabel now has an Urban Assault configuration

The new tires are 31" Sumitomo All-Terrains, NTB had a buy-3-get-1 deal. They look great and drive like butter! Especially compared to the bias Swampers On the 34's I couldn't use 5th gear on the highway, and it didn't take much of a grade to drop the speed way down. The Sumi's are about 30lbs lighter per tire than the Swampers! And with the final drive ratio difference I can pull 5th gear down the highway no problem. I'm ready for the beach
