Used the factory E-Brake cables and hooked them to my 8.8 Rear Drum. Now I have EBrakes.

Installed sideview mirrors for going doorless using the Budget Mirror post (first one that comes up if you search) I read here. $32 includes 2 mirrors and all parts needed and they work great! Unscrew the nut and they slide out to put the doors back on.

You may need to add a star washer for freeway speeds.

I have been doing just local driving so if it goes bad I will add them. Where should the washer go? Under the bolt on top of the door hinge or before the nut under the hinge? Or both?? Thanks!!

Between the bolt and the arm for the mirror. Only if you need them. I also keep a couple open end wrenches in the center council to adjust them, but I do love them.

My Jeep is making a trip to the shop to have some finishing work done. Welding the Shock Mounts & Grill support. Then coming up with some solution to hold the brake lines up front.

I need to wire up the Cooling Fan when it gets home.

Then, ITS OFF TO STATE INSPECTION so I can receive a title.

John

What I did to my YJ yesterday

I installed an Aussie locker in my front Dana 30! Looking forward to trying it out. Kinda sad though, it might make wheeling easier and I enjoyed the challange of no locker - but we'll see.
