Changed out the drive shaft U-Joints, for the last time, at least for a good while. Bought me a Chevy 1500 and am going to make my Jeep into strictly a trail rig... in the not so near future. I am however tempted to drop the 350 outta my Chevy down in the Jeep and give it a new life. But I'm sorry to say that the torque from the small block would most def. finish off my frame. If I think of it I'll post pictures of my "frame", if you want to call it that still. It's hardly existent after the rust has taken it's tole. So big project for me in the future, but I'm looking forward to it.

I changed out the rear diff fluid since I went wheeling last weekend without a breather tube on the 8.8, and who knew what kind of crap got in there. Turns out everything looked fine when I popped the cover, but better safe than sorry.

Currently waiting for the RTV to cure before refilling the pumpkin.

Yep, those are fun to install (BTDT).

Depending on the rake of the shock, you may need to trim the muffler shield too. I know for sure I had to trim the fuel filter skid/shield.

Installed, welded on a pacesetter tfx cat back exhaust system. I had a flowmaster 40 with no tailpipe. The pacesetter has a slight rumble to it, nothing compared to the flowmaster 40 w/ no tail pipe. At least now I wont wake up the neighbors at 2-3am

Installed swaybar and 3.5" links along with my front stock trackbar w/ lift bracket It's so nice to have my front tires centered under my rig on the asphalt when making turns! No more of that feeling of the tires goes left while the body is going right

Got the windshield wipers wired up and working on the heep. Yesterday I installed an aluminum spacer between the steering wheel and the column because the Grant wheel was only about 1/2" from the TJ column. One of the machinists at work milled it for me, then I had to order some longer bolts from Fastenal:

Now I just need to get the Autometer gauges finished and get the dash put back together.

Changed the windshield frame....replaced the friggin' torx with allen head screws. Somehow put a good sized crack in the windshield in the old frame so now I have to buy a new windshield instead of moving the glass to the new frame. Called around....$270! Crap.
