are you driving a 4.2? that choke is the most brutal thing ever. I was messing around with it since I bought the jeep. However there is some good news. There was a recall on it and with any luck yours hasn't been done. I literally just got mine done at the dealership for free. runs like a dream now, so good in fact that I'm going to wait to put in my weber. idles at like 400-500 rpm, and i never thought that was possible, and beside a 2007 wrangler couldn't tell which engine was louder.

Built a shelf to cover the area behind the rear seat. Cut it in nice and tight out of two layers of 3/4" plywood, carpeted it with some rubber back indoor/outdoor from Lowes and jury rigged a block to keep the fold down lever for the seat from being operated unless you're in the trunk.

Impossible to get the plywood lifted without the door being opened, and prevents anyone from accessing anything by dropping the seat back. I'll drop a couple pics if anyone is interested.

Rode around with the top off all afternoon. Put the bikini on (the Jeep not me) just to keep the glorious sun outta me eyes. Spring couldn't get here fast enough for me.

I was on my way to the fishin' hole when all of a sudden...

It only got worse too And I don't have reverse soooo...

Good thing that I have my front end locked, that thing pulled me across that water and I never felt myself lose traction at all.

Good day to go fishing and drive around the woods.

I redid the timing on the heap to use Manifold Vacuum instead of Ported Vac

I parked it with the passenger side tires on the curb...to help keep the fluid inside the rear axle. I need to fix a seal.
Obviously, you haven't taken Physics.

The terminal velocity of the square headlights is directionally preportional to the force of gravity decelerating the front wheels while the alternator is spinning at 3000 rpm's, minus the friction of the bumper pushing against the airflow with the 13 volt current the steering column is using during the time the vacuum motor is disengaged, but the mirrors must be directionally angled from the driver's window because the hood latches deflect the light refractioning down through the Nitrogen coat on the hood.
