The pads were no big deal. One of my calipers siezed on me so I replaced them. My pads were practically brand new. If all you're doing is pads, you shouldn't have any problem. All my bolts came out very easily and the old pads went in the new calipers with no problems. I don't mind doing pads and rotors, but it was my first time bleeding brakes and I didn't find that to be enjoyable in the least. If you're just doing pads, you shouldn't have to bleed the brakes. Just don't disconnect the brake line from the caliper while you're replacing the pads.

well it wasn't today, but a few days ago I changed the distributer, plugs, distributer cap, wires, rotor button, and painted the steel rims a day after the tune up. I recently changed the water pump, thermostat, heater core hose, the starter, and got a new battery as well. oh yeah and I replaced the oil seal for my front differential a few weeks ago.

my drive shaft U-joint broke so i had to fix that today

not today but over the past 3 days.
-removed leaf springs
-removed shocks
-dropped out rear axle and grinded off spring perches and shock brackets
-removed front and rear brake lines to instal extended SS brake lines
-Put on new MORE greasable shackles
-Getting ready to do my SYE kit install.
all is going swimmingly. lol.

'90 I6 258 w/ Weber 32-36 Carb.
32" BF M/T's with cragar rims
5" BDS springs, MORE greasable shackles, XJ driveshaft, AA SYE kit, RE SS brake lines. Bilstein 5150's, 255/70 valving all around, 14" travel in front, 10" in rear.

shortened and retapped the drag link I got from sentinel and put in on.

Converted a/c compressor to air compressor... $80 in parts... still need to weld shut front bumper for small tank.. very pleased with this mod... and very simple.

I fixed some minor rust on the rear lower passenger side corner, back by the tail pipe. I Wired it down smooth, primed the spot, and painted it with some color match paint...doesn't look 100% original..but it adds character it's all better now.

Finally finsihed the wiring/connection thru the firewall of my Fog/brights with multi colored Halos fixed atop the double 3" tube RR front bumper -
Blindingly bright - day/night pics to come

Last night I got it swamped in mud...took 4 hours to get it out..it was pretty bad. I really need to change the tires, the current ones are not made for mudding AT ALL. I've got pictures..I'll post them in the "Show us your YJ wheeling pics" thread later.
