Just got back from San Francisco, but last Wednesday finally went and got some 1/8" metal tube and used a friend's pipe bender to make myself a front winch guard. I think it looks nice, but as you can see from the 2nd pic I'm not exactly the world's greatest welder. But its strong, and that's all that matters to me if I slide into a tree stump!

You mean to tell me that stuff you buy in a bag at the store falls from the sky in Wyoming?

Man, I could make a fortune!

Picked up Tuffy Boxes and struck gold

Found some brand new Tuffy security / speaker boxes for $200 (almost $150 cheaper than the catalogs)

And while I was at the shop, struck gold...

IE weld on rear upper shock mounts. Mine are GONE , rotted away (previous owner welded a bar between the frame) (Really short shocks), and I searched the web for days looking for some. And I couldn't find any.

Sure I probably could have made some but didn't know the offset etc,

So there these were, sitting on his counter, just happens he had them out...

$16 each..well worth it, so now I can just tack them in place...maybe add the MORE shock extensions too...
