Well.....replaced my front window rubber cowl seal.....easy.....except one of my hinges decided to not rotate and instead.....broke....nice clean break....felt like it was rotating on the hinge pin.....lol

Looks like I'll be looking for a new hinge set and beatin/bangin those old torx head bolts out.

Today, i bought my first YJ!

I've had a Comanche, Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee...so it was long past due!

It's an 88 with 103k original miles. Pretty darn clean.

Have a look:

In the process of fixing '92YJ for my daughters.

They would like it painted a white with orange accents (everywhere mine is black they want orange). So, since I have to replace the hood on my '89, I decided to experiment and see what it would look like with the center section painted to match the top and fender flares.

prepped and masked

painted.

Nothing to fancy, just wanted to see if I liked the "look". 3 outa the 4 girls liked it and I don't think it looks too bad.

I like it.

Maybe I should paint the center section on my black jeep silver...
