Finished installing my front EMU shocks today. Track bars and sway gone, 2.5 inch heavy duty EMU lift finally installed.
As noticed on my picture on left (avatar) it sure is articulating excellently now, and has a nice boost in the suspension. Now that this part is done I can concentrate on the next thing to do to it. (it never ends) ![]() Totally happy with getting this part done. Had the springs for several months in storage, wiped the dust off em, and installed.

Added a spring connection from a "peg" on the throttle linkage to the manifold bracket couple of days ago. Now I can drive and coast at low speeds without the jeep hopping all over the place. Thanks Max!

Clutch Master
OK.....clutch master started goin bad a few weeks back.....pedal all the way to the floor, had to pump to change gears, not losing any fluid. Knew it was not my slave because changed out complete clutch kit last year. So I get new master cylinder from Autozone.....
Install new master, flush/bleed clutch system with new brake fluid, used whole small bottle. Next day, pedal all the way to the floor!! Had to pump (just a few times) to get it to work, so I could get to work. Next day, pedal all the way to the floor again.....really had to pump this time!! after work...pump, pump, pump, pump.....nada!! Flushed it right there at work...pump, pump, pump, .....nada. Ended up switching out that master cylinder with another, same type, at Autozone, works great .....so far.....(free-warranty) LESSON: Cheap "made in china" master cylinders at all local parts stores. (really....I checked) PS:gonna order a $$ rebuild kit for the Japanese Napco cylinder I pulled out of it originally. Tore it down, inside o-ring wore slap out!

I replaced all of my brakelines (hardlines) not very enjoyable! who would have thought it would take a whole 25' roll of line+ to complete a 95 Yj?

oil change, serviced front and rear differentials, painted them and serviced transfer case....and yes, I used "Royal Purple". Also torqued the lug nuts and brought air pressure up to where it needs to be.

Mean Max and I took my transmission out yesterday to fix my 5th gear.
Unfortunately the gear(s) were bald and there where gear teeth all over the inside of the transmission. :We're now converting a free (almost mint condition) 2wd Cherokee AX5 with external slave to 4wd so that I can drive home and be at work tomorrow night For the record, this involves completely dissassembling the transmission and putting all of the gears from the 2wd AX5;s shaft onto the shorter shaft of the 4wd AX5. Much snap ring pullin', gear pressin', and cussin' has come as a result. Talk about a crash course in rebuilding a transmission! ![]()
