Managed to find all the pieces to my bolt, washer, nut setup for the hardtop. Put them back on to hold the hardtop on the jeep and gave them a good tighting. Now my kids can't undo them and leave them laying all over the Jeep. An added bonus is alot of clunks and rattles are gone since the Jeep is closer to being a single piece with everything bolted down.

Still installing my lift kit, front is done aside from the brakes, rotors were almost ruined from rust and dead pads, got the new pads and rotors are being turned right now, I should be able to get the back done today, maybe even the TC drop...

Found a 350 chevy in the backyard with an SM465 atached to it.

Now I'm getting ideas.

Terrible ideas

It's taken 3 men, 2.5 hrs, 2 .5 in ratchets, 1 1in ratchet, a .5 adapter, and a pack of Camels to remove two (2) lug nuts from the rear wheels. These nuts must have 2-300 ft of torque on these cause they either break my tools or strip off...

Who's bright idea was it to have caps on the nuts?

I have one nut left to outsmart that i've stripped down to 16mm from 19mm. Its round as an orange ATM.

Lift kit %60 installed, been on it non stop since noon Wednesday...

Welcome to the world of Jeep, my friend. That is how it goes sometimes.

I cut my factory flares tonight and in the process cut my pinky finger with utility knife to the bone almost. Nothing some superglue and a bandaid won't fix up.

Lug nut nightmare D=

Two one the left are the culprits, far left was removed with help of a torch, center was removed via nut extractor, right is a well-behaved lugnut.

Got em all off, install continues tomorrow...

Painted Wheels

No sure if it's better or worst. I need to clean the tires and take another picture.

Also added "Add-a-leafs" and TJ front fender flares after some sheet metal removal.

Finally finished installing the lift... Much literal blood, sweat, and tears later it looks way better. Was worth it and only took 2 and a half days to do.

Adjusted the rear brakes. They still suck. I'm going to bleed the system tomorrow and see if that helps.
