Most recently, I replace the brake booster and ripped out the AC. Actualy, I ripped out the AC because I was having issues getting under the dash, to the clip to disconect the brake peddle from the booster. Taking all that worthless AC BS out, made things allot easier to get to.

Coming up, Electric fan, Trany cooler, some paint and more axle work

My dad and I started to tear out the front end yesterday and plan on getting it out tomorrow because he has work in 2 hours and has to bring some tools home for us to use. It's my jeep when I turn 16

It was yesterday actually, but I finally got around to painting my stock wheels.

After some elbow grease sanding the surface rust off, two coats of Rustoleum Rusty metal primer, and three coats of Rustoleum Commercial flat black. Some touching up, and it's good to go.

Well, last weekend it was rebuild the rear brakes. That went well as I now have the best brakes I have had since I bought it back in 98.

This past weekend I finally got the change to CLEAN it.
Looks much better now. I even got a compliment from the Boss. He couldn't believe it was the same Jeep!

Fabricated a rear carrier. I don't need to carry gas, a highlift or anything else but the spare so I kept it simple. Here's some pictures:

Drilled out the broken, rusted bolts on the underside of the frame rails in the back. Re-tapped the holes and mounted my new rear bumper with swing-out tire carrier.

I wasn't sure if I could do it, but you guys are right. It's better to take the money I'd spend on labor, and use it to buy the tools to do it myself instead.

I repaired a fuel leak right before the filter. Old hoses dry were cracked and dry rotted. I also replaced my driver's side tail light.

Are you replacing all of them, or everything but the speedometer and tach? I'd like to replace mine someday. How much if you don't mind me asking?

I removed the 3.5 inch body lift and installed a 1 inch body lift. This weekend the 3 inch suspension lift will go on.
