And the saga begins!

I bought this jeep on 9/11 3 days later the front calipers started sticking. I pulled the calipers compressed the pistons and put it back together. Evereything worked fine for about a day, calipers got even worse so I just replaced both of them, works great now! So I decided to change the trans fluid today (ax-5) what a nightmare 2 cheap advance auto parts pumps and a lot of cursing and job complete!

Radiator started leaking. Decided no more than I know about this heep I just as well change out the water pump, thermostat and therm houseing and heater hoses. I would've been done in 2hrs if I wouldn't have run to Lowes to get new fasteners to bolt up the radiator. No leaks!

Me and my friend completely reassembled the entire front end of the engine after replacing the timing set.

Tried to crank it and it still wouldn't work.

Then I had the bright idea to replace the coil and guess what,...... The jeep crank up and ran like a charm.

But the problem is now that none of my gauges are reading, but my light work. Any suggestions?

My son and I installed an RC 2.5" lift kit this weekend. The 235's look tiny now. Need some longer brake lines, xfer case drop kit, disconnects and wheels and tires.

The rear frame/spring bolts were a beast. Had to cut them out. The front frame/spring bolts came out like butter. I thought the rear, upper bolts were going to be hell to get out because of the gas tank but once you get the old rubber bushings out the bolts just fall out. Nice and easy.

Drove it to Advance Auto to pick up some stuff. I bought a new belt for it, and some other stuff for the other Jeeps we have.

Made some minor repairs after a weekend wheeling trip up in Batchawana Bay, Ontario. Temporary beat out of a crushed front differential cover until the new 3/8" Rock Crusher arrives later in the week. Now I have to decide on cork gaskets or RTV.

the Woman called and told me that my new bulltear cam/dizzy gears, oil pump gears, and billet oil filler tube were at the house, so I can finish putting the Jeep back together....
