Installed my new to me Warn HS9500i winch. Got a smokin deal on it, only been used once to pull a riding mower out a ditch. 8 years old, but looks brand new. Me very happy

Finishing cleaning up and installing the Tuffy Stereo Security console I scored for $40 bucks from a local Jeep club member. It needed the lock drilled out which was no big deal and now I'm in the process of rewiring the Jeep to accomodate the stereo being moved to the center console. Let me tell you it is a PITA to try and hide wires running across the floor when you don't have any carpet.

Also in the process of touching up some surface rust spots on the frame.

So after spending the better portion of the day putting the Tuffy console in I am quite undecided on whether I like it more than the 20mm ammo can I was originally using. Initial reaction is severely disappointed, guess I need to give it time.

Starters, mag Lights, and Glove Boxes

I went to the junkyard to get a starter, the only Wrangler there was a '97 TJ with a brand new starter...slapped it in and picked up a glove box (my hinge was off, so it just "fell out" at random) for $25.00 after the core charge...

Took a bike-pump apparatus off my bicycle, broke one of the two "holder" pegs off, and drilled it into the driver side of my Lighter/Ashtray piece to hold a big Mag Light!

OH! And I cleaned out my Valve Cover Vacuum hoses, the engine bay, the underbody, and put Jerry Cans in the back after I custom-welded a nozzle (mine came without the pour spout).

Took off my hard top (by myself, I don't recommend it). Put on my old softtop frame so I can stretch out my top for sewing repairs. Dropped a visor screw down the windshield vent.

I removed the new rear output shaft seal that I got from Autozone that leaked like the levy at New Orleans. I re-installed a better one I got from NAPA. I gotta' stop buying parts at AutoZone. I always regret it. they are good for oil, etc, but not parts except in a pinch.

I took apart my sound bar to see what wires went to what, so I can hook it to the head unit.

Figuring that part out was the easiest part, the pain in the *** part comes when you have to figure out how to wire it all up without leaving wires hanging all over the place! I think that by far was the longest part of the install for me was running all of the wires to the front.
