Took it grocery shopping this morning to get groceries for the lil lady, figured I'd take a few shortcuts through the woods on the way there and back.
The better 1/2 wasn't too happy because she just washed it up last night
She also wasn't too happy when she opened up a bottle of Diet Coke i had just bought for her and it exploded all over the kitchen floor

Plan on installing the new latches on the softdoors and putting them on the YJ. I also have a hood dress-up kit that I'll put on this weekend. Nice shiny black latches and tie-downs.

Dropped it off to have a windshield put in, last step before I can start driving her again after a frame swap and paint job this summer, can't wait!

Not "today" but while wheeling, I F'd up my BA10/5 (nice big hole in the bottom), ripped the exaust pipe from the manifold, and trashed the driver side fender. It was a fun wheeling trip but this will cost me a few $$$$

I took the top off (don't have to take the kids to school for the next 3 days) and took my dog for a ride. Nothing but sun in the forecast so it probably won't be our last ride this weekend.

took it out offroad!
didn't break anything, but I got stuck, so we stuck a shovel in the ground and winched it off

Then I stopped and got a Hi-Lift jack and a fire extinguisher.
good things!

I installed the rear of my rough country 4 inch lift. A highly recommend having several wheels for the grinder to cut bolts, and BUY THE NEW BOLTS FOR THE SPRINGS that are not included in the basic kit. I also fixed the leaking brake line, the jeep now stops when you push the pedal second from the right, formerly known as the slow down pedal, it can again be called the brake/stop pedal.
