I bought some Pennzoil synchro mesh to do a tranny fluid change.
I hope to get that done this weekend sometime, been having some grinding/gear sticking issues.

I spoke to P.O. and told him I wasn't happy with the condition of the black jeep he traded me, but I didn't want him to fix anything. I just wanted to inform him.
He's in the military and I traded him my v8 jeep because he really wanted it and I support our troops ! Well when he gets back (this friday) he's going to buy me another jeep to replace this one, haha. He says his friend needs the money and he wants to do right by me and make us both happy. He thinks it's a i6, auto with hard top ... i'm excited... he believes it's red also. Would be awesome if it's a 6 cyl, auto. |

Did my tranny fluid change today. Man that old oil was black and was filled with metal shavings! I need to start doing my tranny fluid more often. Hope the Pennzoil Synchromesh helps my brinding and sticking a little bit.
Going to be replacing my leaky wheel cylinder later this week or this weekend.

Drove it for about 15min then tracked down wires for a few hours. The PO had a battery leak and the acid ate through the wires causing shorts and blowing the main fuse. Also took the top off for the first time! Lots of fun.

Installed a SuperWinch EPI90s + mounting plate and it was BY FAR the easiest mod i have done in a long time, bolts straight on easy peasy.

finally got the friggin windshield down. went crazy looking for some mystery bolt that i didn't know about and then lightning struck my brain. The guy i bought it from mentioned "i've owned it for about 7 years and never taken the top off, you've had it for 20 minutes and the top and doors are gone" then i realize that probably meant that the windshield hasn't been down either, so the hinges are probably just sticking a bit. so after about 5 minutes the windshield is down. well its finally done and i'm enjoying it.
and yesterday i drove my yj over to the "jeepster man" and picked up a couple parts i needed for my soft top install that will be happening soon. great place over there and really cool people too, nice to find out i've got them right down the street. |

Picked up a set of soft doors (like new) for a CJ7 for 50.00. Made a quick call to quadratec for the right latches for a YJ. In a few days I'll be rolling with the soft doors.
