Well, after it died twice on me yesterday and once on Wednesday..I just oredered a brand new HEI distributer and new wires. I rebuilt the carb yesterday, after it decided to get spark again and I got it home, with the kit I got @ Advance Auto for $13. I think the ICM is going or the distributer is F'd. After the carb rebuild it hasn't died again(yet) and I pulled all the uneeded vac stuff out. From what I've heard and read this new distributer is gonna make the 4.2 run alot better. I got the setup for $200. I figure the ICM is gonna be almost 1/2 that ( none of the local stores have it) so what the heck I'll try it and get rid of some more stuff under the hood!

1993 YJ in the works to be beach ready by June
Finished up the exhaust manifold swap early this morning. Only had about an hours worth of work, but I was hitting the bar last night so I stopped wrenchin' early.
I went with the Pace Setter header and I must say I am pretty happy with it so far. The only things I had to tweak were the auto shifter bracket (couple well placed hits with a 10lb sledge gave me the 'custom' clearance I needed), and move the auto trans lines (I ended up using the o2 sensor bracket to move them closer to the oil pan and away from the collectors).
The clearances are pretty tight, but it looks good, plus the exhaust is now routed away from the front driveshaft entirely (was having issues with it rubbing against the down pipe).
I'll have to add some washers to the collector bolts to help hold the retaining springs in place, plus I have to rotate the cat, muffler and tailpipe a bit as it is vibrating against the skid plate ever so slightly.
I didn't get a chance to do the E-350 master cylinder swap, but I might get to it later this week.

Bolted on the SRC front bumper I got for cheap on clearance from Muddy Rocks Offroad. Man, those rusted bolts were a real pita. Also took off the rear bumperettes and trailer hitch while I wait for the rear SRC w/tire carrier to show up from JC Whitney. Got that one for $350 and free shipping.

Spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires.....and mounted my speaker boxes in the back after work.
What kind of boxes do you have bud? I pulled the Fosgates I had int he binder out along with the Subwoofer and JBL amp before shipping it to TX. I want to put them in the Jeep but really have no idea where to mount my stuff. I've got one of the boxes that goes behind the seats to give you lockable storage, so the speakers can't sit back there... I was thinking right behind the front seats on the Wheel Well.. but I'm afraid they'll be nicked, the next time I don't have the top on unless I figure some way to bolt them down...
