Pulled a 16' tandem axel trailer with a skid of floor tile on it... with the mighty4banger!
Then hauled the wife and 5 *5 gallon buckets of paint and about 15 single gallon cans... Getting ready to finish up on our house! The Jeep gets a day off tomorrow - I'm driving the other might4banger -> SVT fOcus

Drove in some mud, good sized ruts, slicker than snot mud and wet leaves mixture. And that was just going back up my washed out driveway after going to buy some catfood and pepsi's.
My wife has brought up the subject of paving the driveway or maybe concrete. I told her it is much cheaper to pull the lever back than it is to pay for asphalt and concrete. She agreed as long as I drag a blade across it every so often just so the neighbors don't think we are hillbillies or something worse they might think we are yankees that don't know any better. ![]()

Charged the Battery. Kind hard to drive it if it won't start.

[I'm That Good]

Today I put together my wish list for my Jeep and decided that when I'm finished, it's going to be one hell of a money pit... Lift, armor, probably new axles and what not, then upgrade to bigger tires, etc, etc, etc...
I guess it never ends... ![]()

got the beadlock basically done on my spare tire. (its already off the rig, so it was the easiest, and its my spare so if i mess it up the first time, no big deal)
Got the synthetic winch line and Delrin fairlead rollers installed as well as the tough stuff winch safety thimble i think im going to start working on a new overhead console today since i have enough scrap metal laying around. I want to get going on the fuel cell and cage and seats, but i'm too broke to go buy all the steel right now

Did The muffler today.
This one should last long. The old one looked like it had been blown up with a stick of dynamite. I guess thats what happens when you don't have any rear bump stops. Next up Timing Chain assembly, Lift Kit, 31's or 33's, Bumpers, Winch, 8.8swap, Regear maybe, Never a dull moment! |
