Got pretty vertical in the chutes and had to hit the skinny pedal quite a bit to get up it. Broke the seal on the clocking ring and lost some fluid. Its not leaking that bad but Ill have to take out the tcase and reseal it. Or order an Atlas that bolts up to the 4L60E

And put my armor to good use in the chutes. Nothing a flap disk and some spray paint can't repair.

Ordered some 1" lift booms for the rear to regain some slip yoke travel. The 8.8 swap left me with 5/8" of travel in the slip yoke, but the weight of the lift sans scooter drops the free travel to about 3/8". Not a good thing. And, yes, I know I need to install an SYE, but there other priorities ahead of that.

I have the video of you coming up to that point but then you kind of sat there for a second and I stop the video thinking you were going to backup and reset. Bummer

Adjusted the 8.8 parking brakes. Five clicks and they start engaging. Seven or eight clicks and they're locked up.

After finishing my AC unit install in the cab my tach quit working. I figured for sure I knocked something loose or disconnected a ground. Turns out, when I test fired my Jeep (after also removing a throttle body spacer) I had the throttle cable tighter than normal which allowed the engine to over rev momentarily. Somehow that kicked the tach needle all of the way clockwise causing it to rest on the wrong side of the stop pin. I removed the plastic cover and hand spun the needle counter clockwise to its original resting position and all is well. Wierd. Easy, but weird.

Somehow my tach needle did the same thing when I used an impact driver to loosen my windshield hinge bolts.
It bounces easily when not powered.

If by soft you mean older and constantly seeking ways to be more comfortable as my body deteriorates around me, yes I'm definitely getting soft.
