Took 2 of the 3 kids, loaded up the YJ and went on the Barrett Lake Jeep Trail. Pretty good wheelin' - but had WAY too many problems with the OBA (and therefore the ARB's - gotta fix that!) A good time was had by all.

I just did mine a few months ago..
Bought a can of Aircraft Paint Stripper.
Used a can of Etching primer because it sticks well to aluminum and used a can of Industrial Rustoleom semi gloss black over that.
The factory stuff on it seems like a powder coat but its actualy some kind of rubberish coating,so its hard to sand off,the paint stripper worked well and easy, just scrape it all off right down to bare aluminum, then sand with 220 grit or lower and make sure its cleaned well with a paint thinner or equal..
Put a couple of good coats of the etching primer(the color is grean),let dry an hour or so and spray the black on.
U.P.S. delivered my Smittybuilt XRC front bumper today. Installed it and mounted Warn m8000. If anybody gets an XRC front bumper and you have a winch, mount the winch before you mount the bumper! Not enough room to get the winch mount bolts in while bumper is on the jeep!
