I replaced my distributor sync pickup, it wouldnt start when it got around freezing, i checked my codes and replaced the sensor and now everything is normal.
Funny thing is that the part was cheaper at the dealer than at the auto parts store, and atually was made in the USA!
Not to bad had to pull the distrubutor, of course the rotor position and the distrubutor had to be marked for re-assembly and the pin by the gear on the shaft had to be knocked out to get the shaft out of the distributor to get into the distributor to replace the sensor.
Now hopefully i can win the powerball tonoght so that I can rebuild the rest of the jeep.

well this was thursday but yeah... i almost rolled off a 7 foot drop into a creek. took 3 hours to get me off the ledge and be unstuck. got full coverage of mud on the jeep. was actually quite fun. didnt break anything that i know of. only thing is i need to buy a new serpentine belt lol
I really didn't do anything big today, washed off salt deposits from the engine compartment and underside, changed out my value cover gasket, mounted a new CB and scanner with a new antenna. Waiting for my tax return so that I can order my BDS lift.
Installed new HEI distributor and Flexilite fan. Runs sooooooo much better!! If your heep is hard-starting and running rough, the HEI is more than worth the time and money. I can't believe the difference!
I pulled my rear track bar off today, Wednesday I pulled the sway bar off and cut the front fenders up just above the bumper. After removing all this unneccesary weight she handles like a sports car. Taking her out to the trails for the first time tomorrow, it is going to be a fun snowy/muddy day.
Removed the exhaust/intake manifold to replace what I thought was a broken bolt in the rear exhaust bolt location. Discovered that it was just missing the bolt. Replaced gasket and installed new bolt. Moving on to the next project....
changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and tuned my weber cuz she was running a little rich, waxed it, then took it off roading to get it muddya gain
