Whats wrong with it, other than it being a plastic clading Renegade?

Sorry Jeep dude, the beer was talking! I'm not a big fan of the YJ Renegades. Too much plastic for me.

The good side of it though, it could be worth a good bit of money, if its in great shape, and if you don't wheel it. $$$$

I used to always like the old CJ Renegades. It was just the Renegade name on the side of the hood. Reminded me of the song by STYX. ( Old School Stuff )

Please don't be mad at me. Everyone has their opinion.

Barrio, I was talking with a guy that works two buildings down from my office, he has a 93 YJ wrangler..if my flares are an inch wider that would be about it...they just appear wider because the wrap all the way down to the "runner" etc... Regardless off Mud-n-beer's unsolicited opinion...
I wouldn't change my "renny's" appearance

Alrighty then...must be **** on the Renegade day... Here's the scoop...I found this jeep with 42,000 original DOCUMENTED miles on it. From the purchase and sale from the dealership to all maint. records... First owner bought it for their caretaker on a private estate in Snowmass... So... $5000.00 for a 93 with 42K mi on it...oh hell yeah! And yes I like the Renegade pkg. So does my G.F.

Hey, its just my opinion. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. I'm just an honest person. Who can't really say that in this screwed up world that we all live in? It's in all of what the person likes. I may at times, act like an a-hole, but I'm a good person at heart.

It's been a while since I posted in this thread, but it's been a while since I did anything of consequence to my rig. Today I finished the installation of the 4" Skyjacker lift that I have been waiting for over 10 years to install. Drop pittman arm and extended SS brake lines included. As I put the original D35 rear in my 92, I upgraded to an 8.25" rear that I found ready to bolt right in. I lucked out and the pinion angle was already so close to correct I didn't even mess with it. Not much longer and I will be swapping out the trani and TC.
Woohooo!

I'll be posting pictures tomorrow.

Replaced the bodymounts, what a bit.., I soaked the bolts for about a month with weekly PB-Blaster shots. Thanks RustyWrangler for the tip on drilling small holes above the bolts to soak them. Broke the one under the passenger floorboard and under the driver seat. The one on the driver seat required a hole through the floor and rewelding of the captured nut, the one on the passenger side, I could reach the nut from underneath.
I used neverseeze on the bolt's, hope I never need to remove it again. I replaced the raged rubber cushions with Polyurethane.
