73dart-can we see a pic of the hand throttle?

Installed my aftermarket "cheapo" SQUARE lights. They really look better then the circles :P Must adjust tonight!

I know engines, this drivetrain crap really gets my head spinning!

Spent way too much money on a super tight budget on a new alt.,new plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor button.Got a 3 day weekend to try and figure out a mess on the factory hacked wiring.Thats just the start on my journey I noticed a really funny humming sound with a bit of a pop when I push the clutch in and roll to a stop from say 40mph.So add to the list, I need a ax15 upgrade, complete front end/steering rebuild, new exhaust manifold(moves 1/8 inch with my hand at the donut gasket),needs new carb bad even though carter just rebuilt.Hmm the joys of a Jeep after selling a perfect ranger and to hell and back for the extra $ to buy this thing which is my only vehicle and DD.When I say tight budget I mean like I really cant spent any $ if I dont have to.Please assure me the journey will be worth it in the end, black betty with be all worth it? or should I go on and have my wife slap me? Anyone that wants to contribute any donor parts for my 88 4.2 5 speed $4200 nightmare please feel free-lol

Finished the front & rear differential fluid flush, then changed the oil.

Installed Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks all the way around, wow what a difference!

Give the Jeep a bath and wax, then started dismantling the interior for a good scrub and clean up.

Hopefully tomorrow the soft top is coming off and the new interior will be installed.

Drove it for the first time since Sunday. The noisy lifters, & rattling noise is getting on my freakin nerves. Picked up some Lucas Oil Stabilizer early this morning. Going to drain a quart out of it this Saturday, so I can put the **** in. Changed the oil last weekend, but didn't buy the Lucas.

That stuff worked great the last time that I used it, but thought it might be too cold to put it in, since it still gets cold at night.

I sure hope it responds to it again!!!!

Getting kinda tired of driving my car. ( Can't go wheelin in a freakin car. )
