Well, today after taking the top and doors back off so i can enjoy the sun, ( even though it was about 50 with 35mph winds lol )

I decided it was time to get that ugly spare tire and mount off the tailgate. The tire looked like it belonged on a 1976 VW Beetle, I just couldnt take it anymore lol

Cant figure out why it doesnt hotlink, shows up in preview???

Installed the front bump stops. The OEMs had rotted through and needed to be replaced. I got stung by what i thing was an ant and broke 2 sockets from my wrench set. All in all what should have taken 30 min took 2 hours do to having to use a hand wrench. The rear bumps stops should go on in 2 weeks. Look forward to adding these to the Jeep.

gutted the entire enterior and scuffed it up with scotchbrite. Going to get the small rust spots out and hopefully spray in the bed liner on Tuesday...I swear work and school are getting in the way of my jeep.

TJ Sound Pods

I installed some TJ speaker pods on my roll cage yesterday. They sound a lot better than my old speaker pods behind the front seats. Took a little bit of drilling, tapping, fishing wires, and lots of patience. I wired up the speakers yesterday, and I'm hoping to wire up the lights in a little while. I will splice into the dome light, so that I can control them with the dome light (dimmer) switch.

Installed my new Supertop, less the windows. It sure is nice having something shading you when it's 70+ degrees outside and sunny. Especially when you have little hair on your head like me.

Thanks much to the CORE guys who helped spot me on the nasty stuff. Not too bad for a stock YJ!
