Replaced the dead batery with a Autozone Duralast gold 8 year /96 month warrenty and 3 year replacement on it for 100 bucks
I hope I have the Jeep in 8 years.
Also put on the J E E P sticker letters on the raised jeep near the doors
Installed my flush-mount LED's awhile ago. Got them in a kit with the lights, grommets and pigtails from Mesa 4x4. For a license plate light I used Lite N Boltz because it was easier for me that way. For reverse lights I bought some mini driving lights from Wally World for 12 bucks. I just mounted them to my rear bumper for now. All said I think it turned out well. I don't know why but for some reason one side looks higher than the other. I measured 15 times! I think it's an optical illusion because one side has the license plate on it and the other side doesn't so there is no frame of reference. I dunno.
BTW these are the tail lights not the stop lights. The stop lights are so bright I couldn't get a good picture without this wicked red glow throughout.
Installed a new transfer case rear seal and filled up with fluid. I don't think the PO realized he had a leak, or didn't care, because there was fluid all over the bottom of the Jeep. Also the fluid level inside the case was really low, glad I wasn't driving it much until I got it fixed.
Also searched for my exhaust leak which I thought was between the engine and down (exhaust) pipe. To my surprise there was no gasket in that location, is that correct? I bought the gasket (item #3 in photo), but it says for 91-95 4.0L. Is there no gasket on the 2.5L?
