Hey, thanks for the info on the seats, that will help me out a bit. Add seats to the list of things happening in a couple of weeks.

I'm working on a long list at the moment.
DIY Weld on Beadlocks. got the spare welded up, need to pull the other wheels and tires off so I can weld the inner rings on. I just finished painting the outer lock rings. New roll cage Rear shock towers Install the custom Aluminum fuel cell I had made Install racing seats New tire carrier New rear cross member New rear bumper New exhaust custom made and routed so I dont tear it off every time i hit the trail anymore Install In-cab winch controller Install new synthetic winch line and delrin rollers Install PSC fairlead light bar too much crap, not enough money. got most of the parts in, then got downsized at work. so I now cant afford the steel for the roll cage

I looked from the kitchen window at it sitting in the driveway and tought of 'the list of broken Jeep stuff' from the other thread, starting with the tire that has a slow leak and is down right now. Oh yeah, I came here (too often).

Checked all the hoses I replaced last night.
Took it to the car was and degreased the engine. Now I can hopefully see if any fluids are leaking. Strange thing.... It ran like a new jeep after I degreased it... hmmmm.... |

well managed to almost finish my interior project. Quick background: i live in antigua which means a jeep is a must for the roads, however we have no off road trails here, so my jeep is more of a pimp my ride style jeep than a mudder.
so yes, i managed to re position and wire up my 5, 6" interior neons and my strobe under the xplod amp, also installed 6 foot rope neon cable around the boston and xplod speakers in the rear deck. resprayed my seat mounts and mechanism covers, resprayed the underneath of the bonnet, covered all cables and tubing and wiring in engine bay in chrome piping, removed factory intake and installed chrome aftermarket performance intake, installed airhorn under bonnet, and made space for under bonnet neons. Kixed down the top of the recovered centre console, and fixed int eh equalizer and hidden neon inside. tested out a burnt DVD on the dvd player. Ordered new bonnet latches, brake switch, window cranks, window seals, 1st 2nd and 3rd syncro kits, and new passenger side door handle. Clenaed up all wiring for undercar neon kit, and whell arche neons. so a fairly productive weekend. Pictures of my very different Yj coming soon. |

Neon? the car or the lights? either way why would you want that on your Jeep?

i feel kind of skuzzy just thinking about neon lights on a jeep, or any vehicle for that matter.

My alternator died Sunday, so I changed that out. While I was in there, I found a very small leak in my radiator, so I am going to put some Barrs stop leak in that and see what happens. I also helped my friend align his body w/ his frame after he removed his 3" body lift, and I helped my other buddy wire up some stereo stuff in his Bimmer.

today? nothing yet. I'm home from work for the next couple days.
I dropped my YJ tailgate on my foot yesterday in the garage and broke me big toe. I've got a front driveshaft to put in and fender flares to put back on since I finished the paint work this weekend. may do that later. probably gonna look at throwing the a/c compressor back on the 4.0 I just installed so I can still have my OBA. I was thinking about doing without the OBA, but I decided to give it a whirl. right now I'm relaxin, enjoying my lortab. ![]() |
