Mounted my freshly coated battery tray. I even sprayed my bolts for fun.

Went wheelin with the club on Sunday! Was a great day at a place I haven't been to in years. No real damage, just some new dents and scratches. One guy in the club has long arms and made it up a nasty hill that you usually need lockers for. I teeter toddered and 3 wheeled a few times but I made it every where. I definitely need longer shocks and at least one locker. After this trip though I will need to replace my front shackles, all spring bushings and my tie rod. I had to bend it out again on the trail

Thanks!! gonna call some local bodyshops today and see if I can get the tub sandblasted on the cheap. If not, I'll wire wheel it myself - the undercoating is stock, and the herculiner has been on there for ~7 years... time to freshen up!! I only had to cut one Body Mount!!

Hoping to have it back together by Halloween... here's the chassis I'm swapping to: (disregard the tires, they are just rollers)

2" Frame stretch in front of the tub, re-done gas tank cross member, 3.5" Black Diamond lift kit w/ M.O.R.E. Shackle Reversal & Booms, teraflex rear shock bar, 4.10's D30 w/manual cable fork thingy, and a non-c-clip D35 w/ ox locker. Trying to rock the 'mild build' for now...

Can you post a couple closeup pics of the rear shock bar mounted? I need to make one of those.

I got it really cheap from teraflex - like $20 - (I guess when they were cleaning them out, - I can't find it on their website anymore) I got it by chance from a tip from canman... I thought I had pics on my phone, but, nope. I'll take some tonight. I had to re-do the shock mounts anyway, and it really helped me get them lined up perfect.

In hindsight I guess I should have frenched them in or done something like Norcal_Chris did, but the bar was cheap and the frame needed repaired anyway

I just had to stop by and ***** a little. Pulled my 8.8 2 weekends ago, went by the Upull sunday to grab a flange, some break lines, and calipers, and everything was 50% off all weekend. I'm sure if I had waited I wouldn't have found one with 4.10s, but I'm still pissed.

Yeah I kept meaning to buy one when they were on clearance. When I got around to doing it they were sold out. My plan is to use some square tubing and cut/reinforce to make one like it.
