Is your time frame still like 6 months? Or are you chomping at the bit to get it done sooner now?

Oh and you better be using black wax! Stuff is like magic on a black rig.

It was in a sense, my buddy was inspired by my design, then he sold it to my other friend.... who offered it to me. I'm talking with the parents about it soon, I wanna see it with my top and doors off.

Thanks Guys!

Nah looks like my 6 month goal is going to be pushed way back due to low funds and lack of time at home. Hopefully Ill have it done by next August or September. Sucks!
On a positive side I should have the entire motor and transmission in by christmas!

Black Wax hun? Gotta find some! My jeep needs all the help it can get with the paint.

Black wax is the jam!
But oh man, that kinda sucks. Just keep up at it bro. Maybe we can get it stabbed in before you get too slammed with work. That way when you get back and ready to rock again, it's there ready to be buttoned up.

Cheers

With the heavy rain melting all the snow, the trail at work is flooded and slippy. At least now I have no reason not to get corner armor

eBay e-auto grills had some good deals on corners.

Thanks for the heads up. How reputable are they?

I was looking at poison spyders trail armor, not the full corner armor. That seems to be a good price and all the protection I really need.

Im going to run it by my fab guy though and see if he cant make me some in 6061 aluminum to match the rockers and rear bumper hes making me.

They seem to be good, like a rebranded smitty. My friend and Carlos both have their front fenders.

A local friend of mine has their full corners and rear flares. They work as intended.

And yeah, I'm 99.9% sure they're just rebranded (and cheaper) Smittybilts.

Cheers

yup. front fenders a solid. I actually ordered mine through Jeepaddons.com under the name Paramount armor or something like that. They're a mass produced rebranding of the xrc stuff.

Decided to start getting parts together for SOA. RRO OTT full high steer. SYE Drive Shafts front and rear. I will be doing the extended brake lines when the 8.8 goes in hopefully in the next few weeks. Then its time for 36x16.5's. Since I will need a regear for those I decided the better option is more power than the axles will already be geared properly. That will be kept simple. Out with the 2.5 and in with a 4.0. It has been an expensive day.

1995 YJ. 2 inch BDS Spring lift. 1 inch shackle lift. 1.25 inch JKS Body Lift 33x12.5x15's. Engo 10,000 pound winch.
