Brought it home.

I paid the PO for it two days ago, and he agreed to meet me at the train station today.

I replaced the leaky rubber line from the fuel pump to the hard line. 5/16" is a pain to get on the fuel pump. That alone took the longest. Haha.

Haha I had to do this just a few weeks ago! Ended up heating the fuel injection hose in warm water and slipping it onto the inlet. A pita but necessary

Yeah I used a heat gun and it didn't help at all. Ended up sticking a replaceable head screw driver in to make it bigger.

I drove it to the local ski resort for a job interview. The women was happy that I had 4x4

Received a call, my lift kit arrives Monday. Unfortunately the Army wants me for the 16-17 so I have to wait for the 22nd to install, hopefully by then my Jeep should also be ready for painting so I can cruise around in a JP Jeep the first week of December.

Replaced my t-stat. Let the engine idle for just over 5 minutes. Still not warming up very quick. Made it to maybe 120? Any other ideas on how to get back to blast furnace?

And while I was in there, I discovered that my drivers side MM bushing is cracked up. Good thing I'm planning a MML soon lol.

Cheers

Let it idle longer she should climb, and keep checking the coolant level in the rad.

Take it out for a drive and get it hot, and give it plenty of time to circulate the coolant. It needs to burp out all the air bubbles. Usually you will need to add some coolant afterward, after it has cooled.

I shed a tear this morning. I was checking the bank account, paying bills before work. Noticed a 250 transfer into our savings. I have been transferring $250 into our savings every month for 3 months now because I will be needing my own YJ in about 18 months, but I had already made that transfer this month on the 1st. This transfer happened on the 5th - when my wife gets paid. I asked her about it and since she just got a $500 a month raise, she decided to "match" my contributions monthly...

Ya, not only did she put up with my "Now we just need..." routine while rehabing my daughters Jeep, now she's helping me prepare to build a YJOTM (next year or so down the line).. She's a Keeper.

My engine is 258 cj block with 4.0 head and efi from 93 wrangler. Electric fan comes on at 210, drops to 195 and stops, repeats... 210 is ok, even 215/220. Even wheeling hot, laser gun shows 214 immediately after shutdown... Runs ok
