i recieved new Jeep decals to replace the ones removed for paint. Too bad i left them at work where they were delivered

that the only mod ive done lately.. havent even been driving it much. shamefully.

Question, why do people run dual batteries on yjs? No winch or anything... But two batteries

thats a custom job. I dont see the need however as there isnt much pulling from them to warrant the use. on this rig anyways.. mine on the other hand, needs duals.

They essentially ride on a greased rubber gasket. The whole cavity is packed with grease so there is very little friction. The inner diameter of the cap and the outer diameter of the u joint cross leaves just enough space for a layer of their special antisieze. That means they need to be greased more often but there is a lot less things that can go wrong.

I pulled the differential apart in my Dana 35 3.07 rear axle by finding a relatively easy way to get the spring pin out of the spider gear assembly. Only to learn my axles must be an upgrade, as they don't have a C-clip to hold them in... So, how do these axles stay in while driving down the road? Looks like the bearing retaining plate at the wheel is the what's keeping things together along with a pressed on ring behind the bearing. humm... not real familiar with this configuration.

You'd be rich if you didn't have that fire breathing monster under the hood! So many things that never would have broken...

I know the feeling of serious power. Its just suddenly seems to matter so much less and seems less important/attractive. And the 2.5 is a little Billy goat off-road. Kinda fun haha!

In 89 they were non c clip. There are 4 bolts on both ends holding them in.
