On the inside I had ground all of the ridges down to metal so I used Chassis Saver on those ,,,on the outside I'm using Rustoleum automotive primer in the rattle can from Wally world 3.77 for a 25% bonus can,,can't really beat that..
That Chassis saver is some interesting stuff, it smells like model paint and lays down flat and thin it really flows well, I plan on using the rest of it on the underside once I finish painting the Chassis..
sweet! looks great. monstaliner is on my to do list. running out of warm weather but im dreading the prep work!
That's kind of funny,,down here in Fl. I'm kind of hoping it will cool off a bit before I'm ready to spray. It's been hot and REALLY humid around here for a few weeks but it's starting to ease up a bit
My project just kept getting bigger and bigger,,I bought a bunch of stuff from Qtec including new windshield frame kit which needed to be painted ,,once I saw all of the colors available from monsta the decision to go that route was an easy one (once I had enough nerve to tell my wife I was going over budget that is).
I'm doing the prepwork in small steps on weekdays evenings I do as much as I can until my two beer limit has been reached..On weekends I bring the Jeep to my shop to do all of the spraying and bodywork..I'm getting there..
Just ordered a 1.25 inch body lift. New winch selinoids and tomorrow a power steering gear box. Still need a review mirror, Drivers side mirror. Thinking I will relocate side mirrors to the windshield hing though. Then onto the SYE and tummy tuck.
1995 YJ. 2 inch BDS Spring lift. 1 inch shackle lift. 1.25 inch JKS Body Lift 33x12.5x15's. Engo 10,000 pound winch.
I gave the Jeep the required offering of $$, sweat, and blood, and everything works fine now. -- Jim

. It started with a $200 axle, and a few thousand dollars later I was done :)

diagnose the real issue before you start going all Obama on it - spending mad cash you'll need for other important things.
Ask me how I know...

this is also my second set of RC springs this year. I'd rather spend the money again and get something that will last.
