How did it pull that? Enough power? Felt pretty stable?
Reason I axe: I bought a tent trailer from my sister she used to tow with her Toyota 4Walker.
She bought it from a guy that put an electric brake axle with 15 inch tires, re-enforced the frame, dual battery setup with power inverter, bathroom, cargo rack on the back and storage box on the front. It has a dinette that makes into a double bed across the back, and the front has the slide forward bed. Doesn't have the rear slide out bed, so it's a little lighter.
I paid $500 for it and brought it home and parked it about 8 months ago. I haven't even opened it since I bought it, but I saw it set up when she used it. Pretty cool setup.
I don't have a brake controller in my Jeep yet. (sitting on a shelf). I'm just wondering how your Jeep did pulling it since you probabley have the same 4.2 that I have. Stopping issues? Uphill? Turning OK? etc...

It'll be fun schooling my club on driving off road. Each one of them were already blown away that a stock YJ on ATs hit even the hardest stuff we found yesterday. I'm not going to let my locals guys in on my mods so it'll be fun to watch a few of the JKUs on LA and 37s with d60s cry when my little YJ makes them look like total noobs. After that it'll be v8 swap, full cloaks, 8.8, selectables, and 35s or 37s. But I want to play with the sleeper for a while first. In fact, any more good ideas for a "sleeper" build? I'm all ears! Cheers

[QUOTE="Sparrows"]P.S. 31s on stock springs do not work haha. I really buggared up my flares yesterday, and I didn't even bother disco'ing my sways. I'm pretty sure there could have been a wrinkled fender/popped tire if I had...Still, even connected I crawled through all the same lines in the rocks that the "big boys" did. Cheers[/QUOTE

Yeah I had umph and I even have 3.07's on the 33's. I can only imagine if I had 4.10's. Everything else was pretty good. Upgraded brakes would be needed for mine. But since you have an electronic brake setup you should e fine. I engine braked while I was towing it so it was easier for me

Dude I pull a 12ft enclosed all the time with my jeep, just allow plenty of brake time.
