Painted. Rustoleum 'gloss sand' thinned 4:1 with acetone through a gravity hplv gun.

Used it to tow one of those little two seater atv things. The throttle cable snapped in front of my house and the lady's husband wasn't home/answering his phone. It was only a block and she gave me five bucks lol.
