Installed my 10" Alpine type R in a custom box. Not a big deal but I built the box by myself and I managed to save 60% of the trunk. That's a win in my book!

Replaced the internal leaking brake booster. Now the heepster doesn't die when I hav. To hit the brakes hard.

Nice videos but use a little more discretion when choosing them. The language was less than desirable on a family friendly forum.

When in doubt, throttle out. Haha. That's awesome. Give you're camera guy a high five for me. It sure was steady and that's what I like.

Today I fixed my doors. PO cut 5 inch holes in the doors for speakers and they were horribly faded.

Removed the doors and the soft windows
Cleaned with windex and Plasti dipped the doors after removing the handles.
Cut my template for the red inserts.
Cut out the steel inserts
Primed and painted the inserts enamel red.
Drilled the holes in doors and metal inserts (should of done before painting, doh).
Screwed in place with 6 stainless steel metal screws.

Whatcha think?

Saturday... it tried to get away while i was turning the chassis for a test fit, the ditch caught it, bent the right front main spring.. yea, and got it stuck before the body was even on.
Pulled it out, got into the garage and did a test fit with the tub to tack up the new crossmember and rear mounts. Made and welded in the new crossmember for in front of the tank, welded in the new 4 rear body mounts... then i set it back down on the frame and scraped the stickers off.

before anyone asks... there's now gussets on those body mount tabs, just didn't get a pic of them.

It seems to me anyways that it sits pretty damn high for some 2.5" lift springs.. those are 33x12.5's if that helps judge. How much should one expect these springs to settle?

You can buy it at lowes. Spray it, like spray paint, on in a few even coats, not to thick. If you dont like it you can peel it off. Wont damage anything. Used 2 cans, one per door.
