Not today but yesterday.

Took it out for a test run. Ended up with a minor kink in the road.

Fixed that and was on my way for the rest of the day.

All in all the jeep was pretty solid.

I'm jealous of your steering. Custom?

Probably sent from my couch cause I'm broke

Pulled the motor for the upcoming swap. It was surprisingly easy to pull w/ the front clip still assembled.

Yup. 1.5" tubing and rod ends all the way around. Pretty fin stout. Still working kinks out of the clearancing issues.

Haha! Blue Tick & Walker mixed seems almost like redundancy.

My YJ has become my Redbone/Catahoula mix's only choice for travel in the afternoon. He will walk in the morning, but only willing to ride in the Jeep after lunchtime.

Can you say 90lbs of spoiled rotten?

Oh yeah, on topic, I topped up the oil yesterday....

I just got off the phone and scored a complete '96 Explorer rear axle for $300. I have to meet the man at his farm Monday afternoon and take it out of the truck. The best part is that it has LSD and 3.73 in it, which is what I was already planning to regear to.

Well been sometime since I have been on. Had lots of stuff going on. Did get a lot of stuff don't on the jeep but had lots break also haha. Got it all road ready and the CPS went out. Ok easy fix. Next day fix it and drive my buddy to the trans shop to get his K5 blazer. Almost there and no clutch except enough to make the rpm's jump a tad at the end of the peddle.. So drive it there and back without a clutch. Look all over no fluid from the tranny or the firewall. So figure ill swap the master since its cheaper and I don't have to drop the trans to do it. Now I have more clutch and shifts great but not as much as before. Next day I had the radio on and it just stopped working(jeep in the driveway not on). Ok battery died right? No... Battery is fine but the damn thing won't start. I can turn the key on and jump the starter poles with a screw driver and it works great. So I pulled the starter to test the solenoid and when I pulled the starter. I found this(pic below) in the hole it goes in... Test the starter and its fine. Swapped the relays with one I "assumed" was good and still won't start. No click no nothing. So now I not only have to fix the starting problem but looks like ill be doing a clutch as well. Hello external slave bellhousing!! Just gotta find one. Anyways sorry for the long winded post but its been a hell of a past few months and this last week with the Jeep hasn't been much fun. Any ideas on the starter please help because if I can't figure it out then ill run wires from the starter poles and push button it. Still have to have the key on for it to work haha.

Thanks and I need to read a crap load of past threads
Josh

I don't know how it's unexpected if he knows his dogs aren't fixed.

Well I thank you for looking to adopt first. The shelters are way over crowded. I'm pretty sure I could train my mutt 60lb German Shepard mix to be a bird dog so don't count mutts out next time

I'm all about shelter dogs. But training only goes so far. They need instinct first and foremost. My dog is trained to work cows and sheep and its about 99% instinct. All the training he has had is literally summed up in "go left, go right, to me, away from me, and stop." Pretty much which direction and pace to do what he was born already knowing how to do.

Cheers
