Grind two flat sides in it and use an open end on a pipe. Tons of leverage.

Twist sockets. You will need them again.

Man they are bright, but ugly as sin. I hate those kinda lights. Guess its left over from my Cj days off road lights should be big and round. Jmo

love my jeep

Started installing the BesTop SuperTop today on my 91.

PITA adjusting the windshield to be 75 1/8" from rear! I am sure my new seal is not helping either! lol

Man what a difference between the SuperTop on my 89 from about 10 years ago! Quality is down for sure.

Plan to drill the windshield retainer during lunch today; debating whether or not to use the OEM one I have, or use the 2 piece one from BesTop.

you can be fined for having a sticker on your vehicle that the cops don't agree with? that sounds like a 1st amendment infringement to me.

No it's not. The sticker represents that the vehicle has certain factory equipment and I it's misplaced, it's like you are trying to hide the information. It's like badging a 6cyl mustang as a 5.0 Cobra. Completely illegal. My situation is different because I'm poking fun at the engine with the low output; however, because it mimicked the 4.0 HO sticker, law enforcement views it as honest badging and demands it be installed in factory positioning.

That, and I'm a sarcastic jerk.

Years ago I drilled and tapped a Camel 8 ball for the shifter of my wife's '85 Mustang GT.

Today I took it off the 'stang and put it on the YJ's shifter.
Now I need to get up in the attic and find my Camel 9 ball, so I can drill & tap that one for the transfer case shifter.

I'd post pics, but the wife's camera takes pics with HUGE files!!! Way to big to post here...

That's looking very nice. Here's a pic of what I'm going to be starting with. I'm swapping out the current family cage for this sport cage that already has the cross brace to mount a tire. It's really heavy.

I haven't even had a chance to put them in yet. Seems like all I'm doing is collecting parts. The YJ is dismantled and ready to start the axle swap, spring change, cage swap, etc., but we found out my parents are coming out from Texas for the first time at the end of July so I've been building retaining walls, replacing sidewalks and other home projects before I can start on the Jeep. The Jeep should be the only priority once I get into August.

i am so glad i do not live in cali. that is the most bull crap fine ever. around here stickers that hide rust holes are the only ones cops are worried about.
