this is not true entirely. they don't go bad but after time they do lose their ability to filter. when the differential pressure b/n the 2 sides of the filter gets to a certain point there is what is called a "bypass" inside that opens up. in essence the filter is no longer filtering your oil, or only a very small amount of your oil gets through the filter medium.

Yesterday - Received the True Trac for the front, and the new shackles. Ordered a chrome-moly d30 axle kit from Complete Off Road.

Today - received the shocks and 3 of the OME springs. Supposedly and hopefully the 4th spring will be here tomorrow.

this is what I will be doing.
What transmission do you have? The BA10/5? The Cherokar will have either an auto or an AX15. The pilot bearing is different. Don't forget the speed sensor on the t-case, and the crank position sensor on the bell housing, and the o2 sensor, and the cat, and the smog stuff, and the computer, and harness, and motor mounts, and fuel line and return line, and fuel tank with electric pump and the evap line, and the electronic speedomoeter. I'm forgetting something.
Good. God. The kitchen sink..that's what you forgot.

OMG yall. I just saw the most awful show. Its a documentary named "Garbage", on netflix. Please avoid this show, they actually showed some guy crushing a perfectly good 88 Sahara, in the name of conservation. And the crusher guy uttered some jibberish about it having no part out value. WTF???.

love my jeep
