Ps the k&n only costs $12 and holds a quart, compared to the stock one that holes a half quart. I beleive it was for a mustang 5.0 it said, regardless it has the same fitting as ours. The place for the socket just makes it easy to get off, I don't think nebody worries about the screwing it in part haha.

My hand tight is a lot tighter than a lot of people. Ha. I have oil filter wrenches that I use to get them off if I need. Mostly after a family member takes their vehicles to a shop. They open just enough to get on the filter and you push the handle the way you want it to turn and the band tightens and friction takes place.

Found a 4.0l in a 96 Cherokee. Complete with harness for $600..and I have to pull it. Worth it? Jeep itself is totaled, so buying whole thing is waste.

Don't do it, just bore your 258, you already got the carb set up. Ditch the smog crap, add a header a shazzam.

love my jeep

Removed the MORE rear upper shock relocation brackets & painted them for Rik.

I don't need 'em anymore since I'm changing the suspension.

I'm pretty sure there is a torque spec for all oil filters, but nobody looks it up or uses it.
