My Jeep back on the road!!!:baco n:

I was really nervous when I was starting the test drive but everything seems great. Disk brakes are a huge improvement! The new exhaust is a little loud but as far as I can tell, no weird noises or vibrations or anything.

How does this look? Wasnt sure if there was too much slip showing or not and does the angle look alright?

And Canman, you are probably correct once again.
I had the same problem when I first got my Jeep, I ended up replacing the battery cables and that fixed it. I cut open one of the old wires and it was all corroded on the inside, never would have guessed it from the outside.

As long as you have no vibs I would call it good.

Its about the same price as the 'cheapy' headers on ebay. I bought the header from ko speed. Perfect alignment, correct flange thickness and a little nicer noise! I preferred it over the omix choice. Whichever you choose, use a felpro gasket, not the crappy included one!

Grenaded the d30 up front! Not quite sure how but boy is it making some wild noises lol just driving down the driveway it sounds like the tcase trying to engage
I think a bearing froze up then spun because of how it grabbed then was really smooth until I put it in 4wd then it sounded like a bag of rocks being shook
Luckily d30s arnt that hard to find with 4:10 gears
So here I go again jack stand crusin when I should be having fun

Crank position sensor or cam sync sensor
If you can find a mechanic that has the snap on mt 2500 scanner they can test it for you just by plugging into the plug under the hood by the computer
Ask me how I know lol

Put the YJ back in the garage, got the front on jack stands, wheels, calipers, rotors off, shafts out & diff cover off. Today I will disconect the steering, U bolts and shocks and then drop the springs. Doin' the gears and installing the OX this weekend. Wish I had some TJ/XJ shafts to throw in there but I am low on $ and Furloughs start in three weeks

You don't want one piece shafts anyway. When your shafts are no longer the weak point in the axle you make your gears the weak point. I would much rather break a stock YJ shaft replace it and be on my way then strip my gears out and ride a tow truck home
