Here is mine with 33x12.5r15's on 15x10 w/3.75"b.s. I've only got 1" Body List, and will be adding a 1/2" shackle lift as well as switching to 15x8 w/4.5"b.s. to address some clerance issues.

Just about finished welding on my new rear frame piece. Hope that this frame is worth the effort.... ordered a new rear cross member too just to tie it all together.

previous owner had put a pc of plastic on this spot on his home made tube fenders. it was all wavy and looked like garbage so I made up a pc of aluminum to take its place and rolled a little recess into it.

I would get out the jig saw and flap disk and go to town on those fenders before I went to a lesser BS wheel. Clean Nice lookin jeep man!

Looks good!

Lately I've just been so burned out on turning wrenches at work - and some non wrench-turning issues as well - that I've had absolutely no motivation to get the engine back in my Jeep. That has to stop soon, I'm wasting the whole summer.

How do you like the wheel spacers? I have a friend locally that is ditching his 1.5" spacers when he gets his new wheels and he offered to sell them to me for $50.00. I keep thinking that widening my stance by a full 3" would be pretty sweet.

But I feel like I remember seeing a thread where people were talking about a high failure rate for them? Or am I imagining things?

Cheers

You may be imagining. At 1.5" they've gotta be the style with their own lug studs that bolt to your existing. Use locktite and periodically check the torque on the spacers (I check them @ rotations) and they will be fine.

Well then I'm sold
Thanks for the info.

I'll have to dig around later and find the thread I'm remembering. Someone sheared off their axle lugs when they were running spacers and it sparked a whole discussion on the subject although I must admit the final verdict escapes me and I must be remembering it incorrectly. Not the first time lol!

Cheers

I wanted to tuck them in a little further, that was the reason for looking at 4.5" b.s., although it's only 3/4" difference. The 4.5" b.s. were on back order with no firm availability date, so I've ended up ordering the 3.75" b.s., either way I'll be doing a little more trimming that I did originally when I re-built the Jeep. Oh and Thanks for the comment, it's not seen any trials yet since I completed the build.

I love them so far, no more rubbing my springs at full lock and i love the look. It's amazing how many more looks you get with 3 more inches ;-).

But yeah there had been a TON of debate over wheel spacers but like previously stated use thread locker and torque them to 90ft lbs, after 300 miles do it again.

Here's a picture of them

Oh and 50$ it's a great deal, i payed 110 new.
