Cleaned the injectors and got new o-rings for them.

Didn't seem like too much crap had accumulated but it did make the slight hesitation while up on the throttle go away so i am pretty pleased with the end result! Greased it all up before assembly and doesn't appear that i introduced any vacuum leaks which was what i was afraid might happen.

Time for a shower and few cold beers

I had a couple hours of free time yesterday to work on my POS. So I pulled my 8.8 out, loaded it into my truck, and delivered it to a friends house so that he can install it into his XJ.

I'm pretty sure he does, although he forgot to grab them while he was here & I forgot to mention them.

I have a RuffStuff medium size truss he was suppose to take too, but hasn't paid for yet, so it could be up for sale soon.

Drove the jeep to work tonight and was rinsing some mud off her when I noticed and oil sheen.

Further inspection found this.... How long I have no idea...

Do I risk driving it home like this 30 min @50mph? I'm sure my Aussie is toast. look at the shaft angle... Argh

I would pull the shaft out and leave the stub shaft in and drive it home!

You should push the truss and play ostrich with the shafts.

Just disassemble the ujoint. You'll need a 13mm though.

All u need is a 3/4 inch to get the lugs off, 13mm or 1/2 inch 12point for the hub bolts and a BFH. Use the BFH and the 3/4 inch socket to get the ujoint out once u pull the shaft with the hub still attached. Need the 13mm for the caliper bolts as well.
