Replaced my tired RC front springs with RE ones today. U can see those RC springs are essentially bent up junk. I left the ones in the rear (they're in fine shape) until i link it over the winter.

I also removed my alternator. It seized up yesterday. I got it to spin again but the bearing inside is grinding so i have a replacement one coming in tomorrow.

I also need to adjust my front OX locker and check all fluids. Got a big trip to Rausch creek coming up on sunday.

Looked at it then promptly went back inside.

All about that unibody life.

If you can't afford to maintain your vehicle in a safe condition - and tires, lights, horn are NOT all it takes - then you can't afford the vehicle.

Now, I will make an offer for any JF member, free or paying. If your Jeep needs work to pass inspection and you can't afford it, then if you can get it to me I will get you any needed parts at dealer cost and do the work for free. As in, absolutely no cost to you. Nor will I accept any money if you offer it - donate it to your local animal shelter or ASPCA, or just keep it. All I ask is at least a few days advance notice so I can change any changeable plans.
Wow great offer, where you located?

love my jeep

Soaked everything in PB spay in anticipation of starting the lift tomorrow, have been spraying for the past month.
Took note of some issues I may run into, brake lines are covered in rust, might not be able to install extensions without replacing the lines, U bolts may need to be ground off, the nuts have deformed from good ol' east coast salt. Need to pick up some primer and paint to touch up spots while I have everything apart.

Dont bother with the ubolts. Just cut. U wont re-use them and it'll be much much easier/quicker to cut.

Quick question...I'm installing my teraflex shock bar....Is there any reason that I couldn't just use the normal bottom perches instead of the Teraflex bracket things? I have the top bar bolted in and am about to weld on the shock perches to the axle, and it looks like it will work without having to use the extra teraflex piece bolted into the bottom.

yes or no?

Cheers
