Yeah I thought that would be a funny/rad thing to put on there. I think I may add a JKU on there as well just to piss my buddy off!

Copy cat!

So I stripped her down today, sanded, washed, and wiped with some Mineral Spirits, picked up some paint, and got my first coat on! Hoping to have it done in the next two days, right before the rest of my parts arrive in the mail!

Too tired/lazy to throw up pics right now, so I'll slap some up tomorrow.

Cheers all!

I've lived in non-inspection states, and it's bad enough that 75% of the people on the road aren't paying any attention to the road. I don't want every 3rd car to be a S-box or death trap because people won't keep them up without someone taking them by the hand and making them.
Obviously dont drive on it if its thumping away. I understand fully about the type of people that will drive a car everyday with parts falling off and smoking up a storm, thats just not right. But I was more aiming towards having to put small tires on, big flares, etc in order to pass, that just seems stupid to me.

And it looks like my deaver spring plates will be in today from Ruff Stuff for the 8.8! Hopefully Ill get to drive it this weekend!

I know it was a page back but I've seen a Tom woods shaft break one the first trip with only a 4.0 and 36s and a pretty simple hill climb. I hear they are good and I'm using them but things do happen .

Your jeep doesn't meet fender requirements (aka statutes/laws) obviously... so you brag about putting small tires on in order to get your yearly sticker. If your mechanic knows you're putting the big tires back on when you get home then he's putting his inspection license at risk.. you flapping about it online isn't gonna help. I don't really care if you don't like it, was just trying to point out you could do the guy a favor by keeping quiet about it.

Think about all the laws that we have to abide for the simple reason people are getting more and more stupid and are too irresponsible to take care of themselves.

I agree that for the most part they are... but a basic one would be good if it only covered tread depth, is the frame solid, do the lights work, is it dangerous to others, and is anything about to fall off that needs secured.

That's why I love NC! Good tread, lights work, horn blows, wipers work, and your out the door!

Dropped some dollars on:

f-o-a coil overs , 2.0 16 inch. 150/225.

Harsh terrain steer arms, the ones for h1 rims

And aluminum canisters for my radiator overflow and washer wiper fluid.

But I forgot to buy the lube.
