Yeah my 11yo was driving when that dent got in the 8.8 cover. (That's my story) and it is now on the short list for a Riddler to match the front.
I used the lower plates and put them on top with some round stock welded on, and summit square u bolts and a small spacer under the spring... Pics if you need them... Low cost

Just something to watch out for.

I called tuffy and Reagan over there is going to find out where the last big order went and try to find me one. That way I can order new locks for the fender boxes.

Thanks. You know.. yesterday i tried testing the lights out without mounting them and they were acting funny. I think they must be grounded at the tub or something cause as soon as i tightened everything up the issue disappeared.

Incase any one cares or runs into this problem, I had to take it all apart again and found out the oil pump was installed incorrectly. Luckily I have an extra transfer case.

I should be able to button it up today and I'll be ready for the 8.8 to go in

They do ground to the tub via mounting bolts. When I flush mounted mine I had to run a ground wire for each

Installed the Adams driveline, threw the seat back in and drove it! 4;88 & 31's that thing is down right peppy now! after I got it warmed up I checked the torque on the pinion nut. gonna drive it a few miles this morning and then flat tow it up to the mountains. Its 2wd with a locker till I get the front done in the next week. (front driveline removed to prevent accidental engagement.) guess I'll stick to the logging roads.

Oh! and the disc brakes on the 8.8 are a big improvment!

Double Oh! OME 36r's give you more like 3.5" of lift! I gained a full 2" over the old saggy Pro Craps.
