Found them on q-tech for $118.00.... Is there a cheaper place to get them?

That's an awesome idea!

I seem to remember seeing a post where a guy just welded a bolt to the lower spring plate to mount the shocks there (similar to how the swaybar connects in the front.) That seems like a cheap easy way to extend my shock mounting point about 5"... Thoughts on this?

This made me laugh ahaha!

I'm going to end up having to pull the axle again to work on it which sucks. Thats what I get for having bad help I guess. From now on I trust no one else to work on my junk at all.

Zte, that looks great! I'm not sure about Naches still. I have to sort this first and it's going to cost me money which is going to seriously cut into my fuel fund. Grrrrrrrrrr!

Cheers

Also if you do get the teraflex bar make sure you get the lower mount section to rotate the lower mount 90 degrees since it will be running it diagonally instead of straight up and down. Or make your own since they wouldn't be hard at all to do yourself. Part number on teraflex mount is 1514700 if you go that route though.

Lined up an appointment for next weekend to possibly look at buying another jeep lol. I'm thinkin a 93 auto v8 zj would make a nice tow rig for my YJ. It has a bad transfercase but that's like an afternoon worth of wrenching n it'll b back road worthy. Pretty sure I'm going it b able to get it for next to nothing, we'll see.

Are you running one of these set ups? If so do you have a pic or two? I'm having a hard time imagining how it looks all put together.

Cheers

Huh, all those pics and I wish I had rear shocks... I should probably get on that...

Drove the YJ after the whole starter ordeal. Ended up raining. Feels like I have a whole new roof. It doesn't flap about and make a clacking noise, doesn't leak, and no longer randomly pops open from the windshield channel after flapping for a while thus exposing me to the rain. Also fixed a grounding issue with the amp.
