I didn't make it look pretty, but with some practice, you could make the stitching look great.
Thanks for the heads up on that. That's just the sort of thing I've been contemplating doing, as my roof has a few seams coming apart and a zipper or two to replace

Converted from oem battery terminals to marine quick release terminals. I love the look of it and the practicality of quick release. I mounted the connector upside down on purpose.

I did that to a buddy's Yj last weekend. Had to get a new water lump because it turned the wrong way after the serpentine swap.

Looks like everyone went out wheelin for memorial day! I didnt really take any pictures cause my phone was hidden from the mud but Im waiting on the videos and pictures to be posted from the club.

Heres an inside after pic once we got to the road

No serious damage for anyone, one guy lost his exhaust in a mud hole and another lost his side mirror down a tight trail. I now have a high idle (2000rpms) which is pretty annoying but Im going to look into it after work today

And then I started on my half top project! Heres the first cut

I don't wanna jinx it, but since I changed the RMS, timing cover and valve cover gaskets, then RE-routed the PCV setup, I have zero leaks. On a YJ. It may not last, but I'll take the 4 months of stain free garage floor I've had up till now. I also took old mech fuel pump off and added block off plate. All they had at store were chrome ones. So now my jeep has chrome. Damnit.

Put the new box in last night, swapped the old sub into it. Not yet tuned but waaaaay better than the beat up old box I was using. Gets to some of those really low notes that it couldn't get it before. Threw plastidip over the outside then put the spare cover on it to help keep it safe from the elements. If its not raining later i'll snap a pic

Just waiting for the harmonic balancer and engine mounts from Quadratec, and the power steering pump from NAPA. Hopefully I'll have it in this weekend.
